LIVE ABs

For any player who wants to get in game-like reps and action.
Each session will be limited to 6 hitters.
​What are Live ABs?
  • Pitchers vs Hitters in a simulated game using HitTrax. HitTrax calls all balls and strikes and determines the outcomes on all balls put in play.
  •  Just like a real game, with 3 outs per inning with a running total of how many runs the hitters are scoring against the pitchers
  • ​Hitters bat in an order just like in a real game (however, lineups will be shorter to insure more at bats for everyone)
  • Statistics collected for both hitters and pitchers
Schedule
  • College/Pro
    Tuesday through Thursday @ 1:30pm. Length will be determined by the number of pitchers throwing that day.
  • High School
    Wednesday @ 6:00pm. Length will be determined by the number of pitchers throwing that day.
    Schedule will adjust based upon demand
Pitchers
  • Face hitters in a game-like setting
  • All pitching metrics like velocity, spin rate, etc. via Rapsodo
  • See what works and what doesn’t against real hitters - way better than a static bullpen
  • Hitter response reports via HitTrax - how hard are they hitting it against you?
  • Stick to a specified pitch/inning count. Throw as much as you are conditioned for - you will not be overused.
Hitters
  • Game-like at bats against high quality live arms
  • Full batting statistics via HitTrax including exit velocity, distance, etc.
  • Situational at bats - drive in a run, move a runner over, etc.
Catchers
  • Receive multiple game speed pitches from several different pitchers in a game-like setting
  • Practice your receiving skills
  • Practice your pitch calling skills (no signs coming from the dugout, no wristband to check)
  • Catch one day and hit 2 days for free
